This was amazing! Used 1.35lbs of ground beef (thank you Costco) with 1lb of pasta and was a bit generous with the other stuff. Couldn’t find roasted peppers in vinegar so just chopped em up and added a couple tsp apple cider vinegar. Old vine Zin for the wine… Super delish comfort food!!
Looks delicious Rachel! Could this be frozen before the baking part if making ahead for some friends? Or might the sauce get too absorbed in the pasta and it'd get dry?
Thanks Gina. Ya exactly, I never recommend freezing cooked pasta tbh. But you could absolutely make the red sauce ahead of time and freeze that, then it will all come together as fast as boiling the pasta and popping it into the oven to melt the cheese.
