Today marks exactly one month until Kyle and I go on our HONEYMOON!!! We are doing 3 weeks in Italy and officially booked in for Florence, Rome and Amalfi. I’ve realized I really don’t like planning trips - I love to travel but I get so overwhelmed with what to actually do because I don’t want to miss out, but I also don’t want to be busy every waking moment. So if you have any tips for any of these cities, from where to eat to what to wear to what’s not worth it, please spill!
this week’s lineup
This week was very summer heavy - hot dogs but make em fancy, stuffed peppers, but make em fancy, and homemade ice cream sandwiches, but make em fancy and easy… hm perhaps an inadvertent theme. Clearly I enjoyed myself this week, so I hope you do too.
go get your dinner (and dessert), sorted!

summer stuffed pizza peppers: the only version of stuffed peppers I like. Crispy - not soggy, tangy, cheesy, and EASY. Heck of a weeknight win.
hot dogs 3 ways but make it chic: plain ketchup and mustard just weren’t gonna cut it this week, so we’re going all in with hot dog toppings good enough for guests (or more importantly you). French onion, dirty martini, and chili crisp & kimchi. Try one, try them all, ya’ll.
half homemade cherry cheesecake ice cream sandwiches: cream cheese fudge, I repeat, cream cheese fudge. A cherry swirl. And browned butter blondies. If you want to impress someone this summer, here’s how.
Alright, off to go stare at Italy maps I promised myself I wouldn't open yet. Talk soon!

Streets are cobbled stone, wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy the people you meet along the way! Have a great time.
Florence is awesome- phone ahead for lunch or dinner at Vini e Vecchi Sapori - 39 055 293045 - The absolute crowd favorite is the paccheri pasta with zucchini flowers and saffron. Other highly praised items include the pappardelle with duck ragu, peposo (a pepper-heavy beef stew), and their signature house raspberry tiramisu. Trust me - you’ll thank me when you get back or before ❤️
