I've never loved green bean casserole. Sure if you smother anything in gravy it's going to be good, but when you have so many other heavy sides, I crave a good acidic punch on my plate.

Enter the honey mustard green beans.

We start by blanching the beans in aggressively salted water to season them from the inside out and it helps keep the bright green color when you cook them. Then we toss it in a sweet and tangy glaze and top with toasted nuts to balance things out. Extremely simple, somewhat unique, and sure to be a hit.
