Happy Sunday and welcome back to dinner, sorted. Let’s get your dinner, sorted!
I sent out a bonus dinner, sorted recipe on Friday for the red wine braised beef lasagna but somehow it didn’t get sent to everyone - so I’ve linked it here. Be sure to check it out cause it’s the best thing I’ve made all year.
Hope December’s been treating you right—good food, quality time with your people, and absolutely no stressing over perfection. The holidays are meant to be enjoyed, and that includes you.
Next week I’ll be in the kitchen with Kyle’s mom, putting together a Christmas feast for his side of the family (cooking for a crowd is my love language). Then, in January, we’re off to Edmonton to celebrate a “belated” Christmas with my side—complete with snow to give it that true holiday vibe.
Before we get to the food… since I missed last week, I owe you all the final 2 winners for the giveaway so you can get your gifts in time for Christmas.
🎉 giveaway winners 🎉
the paid subscriber winners for the $100 GC’s are: Dara Foti, Noel Ware
and the winners for this week’s free 6-month subscription is: Anne Hutchings, Clarke Meneguzzi
And a huge thank-you to everyone who’s been following along and supporting dinner, sorted—it truly means the world. I know everyone says, “I’ve got so many exciting things coming up,” and it’s usually not that exciting… but honestly? I really do!
January is all about making your life easier in the kitchen with a little more structure from me (but still keeping it fun and approachable). I can’t wait to share what’s in store—I hope you’re as excited as I am! Stay tuned for all the details next week, along with the final dinner, sorted of the year! 🎉

this week’s dinner, sorted: greek inspired turkey bowls with homemade pita
This is one of those “holy crap, I can’t believe this is actually pretty healthy” meals. Think of it as a speedy Greek-inspired Bolognese served over a kind of tzatziki.
You can keep it simple and have it on the table in under 30 minutes, or go all-in and make everything from scratch—and it’s still done in under an hour. It’s also a dream for meal prep, and having various components means the bowls are customizable, so everyone at the table gets what they want. Total win in my book!
